Courtney Israel

Skills to pay the bills

campaign concepts + The big idea

Filtering and dwindling an overload of information into smart (and hopefully one-of-a-kind) creative solutions. Sometimes known as; mulling over something for hours, while binging on Netflix. I swear it works.

Implementing strategy, tone, messaging, naming, typography, and colors to generate a branded logo/mark, mission, vision, tagline and supporting imagery and graphics. Generally packaged neatly with a library of assets in a style guide recommending rules and usage.

Traditional Print

You name it. I've done it. Business cards, letterhead, magazine and newspaper ads, direct mail, brochures, rack cards, billboards, bus benches, promotional items, trade shows, etc. If you can print it—I can design it.

Websites + Mobile Design + Social Media

Not to be confused with a developer, I have ample experience designing for the digital space. In addition to all things web, I'm also able to create and curate content for blogs and social media, so you never get caught off guard.

— Kind words —

"There’s a kind of magic that transforms graphic designers into art directors, and Courtney has it to spare—she doesn’t just create amazing work, she can train others to do it as well. She has never been an order taker; she has always been a collaborative problem solver. Courtney brings the quality and efficacy of every project she works on to higher levels. She thinks big, moves fast, and delivers beyond expectations." – Q Parrish | Creative Strategist & Planner, Phase 3

"Courtney is a fabulous designer and created beautiful work for a wide range of our clients during her time at Rhyme & Reason Design. She's personable and creative and loves the brainstorming and problem-solving process. She excels in creative typography and always delivers polished work. I highly recommend her for your next project." – Karen McKenzie | Creative Director, Rhyme & Reason Design
